Breckenridge is a good all around resort with lots to do. It's a great base for exploring all the areas of Summit County since the ski pass at Breckenridge is good at Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin. The town is a pretty Old West renovation, lively and there isn't a chance of you going hungry with all the restaurants to choose from.

The skiing is spread out over 4 linked peaks with most of the terrain offering the intermediate and beginner skier plenty to chose from. Advanced skiers also have some great bowls to play in. There is plenty for all abilities. 

Breckenridge is busier than most North American resorts but the excellent lift system assures there are rarely any lift queues. Spring Break (mid March) is the busiest time, but even then delays are short. The new gondola has greatly improved matters.

And some condo locations which look OK on a map, are actually very inconvenient.   Very high village - not ideal for anyone who suffers at altitude.

 

The accommodation options are varied. There are plenty of self-catering condos, town hotels, and nice B&Bs to choose from. Staying in town keeps you close to the lively entertainment and nightlife and is aesthetically more attractive than some of the slopeside accommodation.
