There is so much about Copper that it's hard to know where to begin! The resort has been working diligently to make itself a premier destination in the Colorado Rockies and it is succeeding in that pursuit! The accommodation is top notch, offering a perfect balance of tastes for your budget. You can stay in luxurious condo at a great price or an inexpensive standard unit. The New Village at Copper is focused around a large skating rink that will have plenty of unique shops and restaurants to enjoy. Copper's approach is to give its guests something they can't get at any other destination. They want to make everything there unique, special, and one of a kind.
As for the skiing, Copper can't be beaten. The terrain is impressive yet the balance for beginners, intermediates, and experts will delight everyone in the group. Experts can take the Super Bee, high speed six-seater chair, into the crux of the tough stuff, while intermediates can zip up the mountain on either high speed quad from the base area. Copper Mountain is one of the most snow reliable resorts in Summit County and boasts a very impressive snow record.
Copper's only real drawback is the relatively small band of accommodation available - no hotels and no condos bigger than three-bedroom.
Weekends are busy because Copper is the favourite ski area for lenner day-trippers. When you experience the terrain, you'll see why! |
