The Keystone ski area is perfect for most UK skiers. There is plenty of wonderful intermediate terrain, very comfortable accommodation, and the usual resort mod cons. It's a good all-rounder offering a Colorado skiing experience with the flexibility to explore without ruining your budget. The resort has developed more terrain to keep the advanced skiers happy in the last few years too. And skiing gourmands will love the main mountain restaurant, considered to be the best in American skiing.
There are a few good spots in Keystone for a bit of lively apres-ski but most of the area's bars quiet down later on. Keystone also offers the largest night-skiing operation in North America so if you haven't had enough runs in during the day, head on back out in the evening! The best mountain restaurant stays open for dinner - they take your ski boots off you and replace them with slippers so you can dine in comfort!
99% of Keystone's accommodation is condos, so there's a very wide selection of them, but only two hotels. |
